I choose to see God's hand in the snowflakes and hear God's voice in the silence of the falling snow. I choose to see the beauty in the birds fluttering around the bird feeder. And I choose to feel the crunch under my feet as I walked to the mailbox. I choose to find joy and beauty in the simple things and use this time of pause to rest and reflect on the goodness of God.
The snow will quickly disappear next week. But we don't need a snow day, to take pause.
