Nothing is happening in the world and in our world that God does not know about or give consent to occur. God knew what it would take to make the world stop and focus on what's important. We, as the human race, have lost out focus and faith in our Creator and placed it in humans. And because of this the pause button has been pressed all over the world. Most of us live very busy lives and we don't have the time, or take the time, to do so many things that we want to do and need to do. This is why we need this pause in our lives.
This pause is a time for us to realize how blessed we are and to use our blessings to bless others
This pause is a time for us to take a step in a healthy direction in our diet, exercise, and sleep habits.
This pause is a time to read the books that we have, write the letters to friends and family, and call or text to check in on loved ones.
This pause is a time for us to tackle those chores; clean out the attic, garage or even that drawer, wash the windows, or give the kitchen and bathroom a really good scrubbing.
This pause is a time for us to clean out our over stuffed closets and cabinets and bless others with our excesses.
This pause is a time for us to get out and walk in the fresh air and marvel at God's creation.
This pause is a time for us to let go of the envy, bitterness, lack of forgiveness, and any other sin that hinders our relationship with God.
And this pause is a time to pray more, read the Word more, and spend more time in communion and fellowship with God.
The world is in a crises. We are going through this together and we are more alike than we are different. We can choose to use this pause as a time to get better and do better, not just for ourselves and our loved ones but for all of God's creation.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14
